
A Journey Full of Fun on Palace on Wheels - Philadelphia Model Train Shows
The city of Philadelphia attracts large number of tourists for its model train shows. There are different associations and companies like Allentown Train Meet Association, which hosts a show named "First Frost Show" in the month of November.
The show hours are from Saturday (9am to 4pm) and Sunday (9am to 3pm). The association conducts train shows twice in a year. Tickets are priced at $7/day and it is free for kids. The visitors are entitled to receive special group offers in Holiday Inn Hotel during the show as well.
Greenberg's Train & Toy Show has been a very popular train show in the northeastern part of US. The show exhibits toy trains, which the kids can ride, huge train layouts along with simulated steam engines. Kids are admitted free of charge while adults are charged $7 for both the show days. The timings are from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Another traditional model train show is CRHS Model Train Show, held in Marysville PA Lions Club. For the very first time this year, the show will be held at Pennsylvania Farm Show & Expo Center. The show will have provisions for refreshments, model train and rail roads along with lots of train related collectables for the kids. The show is scheduled on 20 November 2010.
Last but not the least is "The N Scale Collector" located in The National N Scale Convention Center. The visitors may choose to stay at the Convention Hotel and then plan out a filling lunch at the Shady Maple. The registration for the show begins in the Month of November 2010.
