The Academy of Music which is also referred to, as the American Academy of Music, is basically a concert hall and opera house situated at Broad and Locust Streets in Philadelphia. It has been constructed in 1857 and is well-known as the oldest opera house in the whole of the United States, which is still utilized for its original purpose. This venue is the home of the Opera company of Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Ballet.
