
The National Museum of American Jewish History
The National Museum of American Jewish History documents the artifacts depicting the American Jewish experience. The Museum has a collection of more than 10,000 artifacts and chronically interprets the Jewish history. The collection includes various historic documents, clothing, art objects and ritual objects. The Museum attracts more than 40,000 visitors every year. Majority of the crowd is Jewish from every corner of the world.
This great Museum first opened its doors to the public in 1976, 4th of July. The National Museum of American Jewish History is also known as the "Synagogue of the American Revolution". The Museum organizes various programs like readings, storytelling, lectures, film series and concerts following the exhibitions.
The Museum is also constructing a brand new 100,000 sq. foot building which is scheduled to open in 2010.

The Museum is open on: Monday-Thursday: 10am-5pm; Friday: 10am-3pm; Sunday: noon-5pm.
Admission fees:
Adults: $4, Seniors, Students and children of 6 and above: $3.
Tourist Information: Self guiding for exhibits. Gallery guides charge no extra fee for answering your queries during the gallery tours.
Group tours: If you wish to visit the Museum in group you need to call in advance to book your personalized tours.
