Penns Landing Fireworks
Bound by Front Street and on the West by Delaware River, the wharf otherwise known as Penn's Landing set the mood for the first colonies to set foot in this part of the Americas. Penn being the founder of the Pennsylvanian City saw to the treaty between the colonists and the Delaware tribe that inhabited these parts. Recent times have seen the spot being developed for many purposes but the original significance of the first colonists' arrival has never been lost. In fact, the developments are made around this theme. At this point, the city residents set up a show of fireworks once on every other occasion.

New Year's Eve
Hotels in Philadelphia will give you a nice view of the fireworks thrown during the closing of the year at Penn's Landing. With places where such a view cannot be secured, one can follow the proceedings live from the local broadcast stations or on the web casts.

Independence Day
Another occasion for a fireworks show at the Penn's Landing is July 4th. On this day, the residents, as all other American citizens do, take out to the streets to celebrate the day of liberty. A good show of fireworks can be seen then.
